An accredited marine surveyor with AMSA, Zac is able to issue survey compliance, required to commercially register and operate ships. Initial commercial registration, periodical survey, positive flotation statements and survey to obtain a Restricted Use Flag for operations in Australian waters are also professionally carried out.

Zac's knowledge as a shipwright is arguably unmatched, after more than 25 years as a boat builder crafting and refitting diverse vessels through Northern Australia and the Asia-Pacific. Having grown up with family members as shipwrights in Tasmania and originally trained in traditional timber boatbuilding, Zac is capable of, and qualified to, offer invaluable hands-on expertise.
Zac is fully accredited and licensed as an IICL and Bureau Veritas Container Surveyor who can perform mandatory container surveys required every 2.5 years within the international maritime industry. Experience as supervisor for maintenance and repairs to Refrigerated Shipping Containers (reefers) for a large Australian Company has given Zac the knowledge and expertise in all types of shipping containers.
For a number of years, Zac has done statutory tests on ISO Tank Containers for Bureau Veritas. On-hire-off-hire, damage and pre-trip inspections for shipping containers are also a specialised service.
